Matt C. Cooper is an attorney in the Denver office of Cantafio Nagel & Song PLLC. Matt’s practice focuses on a variety of corporate transactions and litigations, regulatory compliance, business entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, contract review, and all matters of cannabis. Matt graduated from the Sturm College of Law in 2020 completing two certificate programs, one in Corporate and Commercial Law and another in International Legal Studies.
Matt grew up in Hallandale Beach, Florida. He moved to Colorado to attend the University of Denver for his undergraduate degree. While in school, he worked with cannabis companies, found his passion, and decided to pursue a law degree, also from the University of Denver.
During his law school career, Matt aided the Director of Legal Affairs at Incredibles/Medically Correct, one of the largest edible manufactures in the United States, through two significant transactions. He also interned for a semester at Greenspoon Marder LLP in Denver and has a passion for transactional work within regulated industries. Matt also spent a summer studying abroad with professors from the Sturm College of Law in Sorrento, Italy. During his time abroad he studied comparative corporate governance, comparative criminal punishment, and the Italian legal system.
When not working Matt can be found snowboarding, hiking, or golfing in Winter Park, or back in Florida or the Bahamas offshore fishing and spending time with family. Matt loves to travel and has spent time traveling throughout Europe and Asia with his girlfriend
