Cody J. Watson is an attorney at the Denver office of Cantafio & Song, PLLC. Cody’s practice focuses on a variety of commercial litigations, compliance, contract review, insurance disputes, probate, and trusts and estates. He holds a professional certificate in International Law from Sturm College of Law.
Cody grew up in Greenville, Maine, a town of less than two-thousand people which sits on the largest lake in Maine. After graduating from high school, with a class of twenty, Cody went on to study Political Science at the University of Maine, where he graduated from with Honors. Cody then decided to pursue a law degree from the University of Denver.
Cody graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2021. During his time in law school, Cody served as a Law Clerk at Cantafio & Song, PLLC; worked as a Law Clerk at the Hoban Law Group; and served as Vice-President of the International Law Society at the Sturm College of Law. Cody was also fortunate enough to study abroad for a month in Sorrento, Italy, with professors from the Sturm College of Law, where he studied comparative criminal punishment, comparative corporate governance, and the Italian legal system.
When not practicing law, Cody enjoys spending time with his Labrador Ollie and being in the great outdoors. He can often be found hiking, fishing, skiing, or sampling craft beers.
