Charles Wood is an attorney with Cantafio & Song, PLLC who primarily focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial, contract, and civil rights law. He is a steadfast and meticulous practitioner committed to serving as a dedicated advocate for his clients.
Charles earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. He first started working with Cantafio & Song, PLLC as a law clerk following his first year of law school and maintained that position until becoming a licensed attorney. He began his tenure with the firm clerking for its founding partner and gained experience on a wide variety of legal issues while working with numerous attorneys. While completing his legal education, Charles also worked as a Westlaw student representative and was a member of the Business Law Society.
Prior to law school, Charles worked for several members of the Texas House of Representatives both as legislative staff and as a campaign manager. During this time, he facilitated the passage of legislation, wrote speeches, communicated with constituents and media, and executed a grassroots campaign strategy.
Charles graduated from the University of Texas with a major in political science and a certificate in business. He grew up in Houston but spent many summers in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. When he is not practicing law, he enjoys snow skiing, camping, and experiencing live music at Red Rocks Amphitheater.
