Amber M. Naiman is an innovative and diligent Corporate Transactional attorney specializing in advising business teams and individuals on commercial, transactional, regulatory, licensing, and compliance legal questions and issues unique to highly regulated industries. Prior to joining FNC, she worked as an associate attorney at Drew Gottlieb, P.C., where she advised owners, investors, and other associated individuals and entities on a wide range of corporate, regulatory, and licensing matters. Amber mainly serves as outside counsel for business clients with responsibilities including due diligence review, maintaining and updating company records, legal research, regulatory compliance analysis, drafting and reviewing corporate transaction documents, and providing clients with the foundation and ability to enter, grow and prosper in emerging markets. Amber also has significant experience preparing and reviewing corporate policies, procedures, community engagement, operating and compliance plans for individual and multi-member business entities.

Amber was born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area. She graduated from the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario with a Bachelor's of Commerce degree before obtaining a joint JD-LL.M in International Business Transactions, from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law.

Upon graduating from the University of Guelph, Amber worked in the University’s Agricultural and Economics department, where, under the supervision of Professor Maury Bredahl assisted in composing a publication for a presentation titled "Canadian Bilateral Trade Agreements: Drivers, Pressures, and Constraints", discussed at the 2012 International Agricultural Trade Research Consortium (IATRC) Annual meeting, which analyzed economic theory and free trade agreements between Canada and its trading partners. Before attending law school, Amber spent some time living and working in Israel where she taught English to both elementary school-age children and adult Sudanese refugees.

Outside of the practice of law, Amber likes to spend her time outdoors and enjoys skiing, running, and playing with her dog, Jimmy. She loves listening to bluegrass music, and like most Canadians, watching hockey as she is a die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs Fan.
