With the Governor’s Executive Order[1] prohibiting in-person instruction in Colorado’s primary and secondary schools through the end of the 2019-2020 school year, many parents and students alike are left wondering what the Summer and Fall semesters look like for Colorado students.
As of this writing, Denver Public Schools, Jeffco Public schools, and fourteen metro area Districts in conjunction with their respective county health officials have announced the continuation of remote learning. Each districts’ websites contain important information for parents and students to bring clarity and reduce uncertainty during these challenging times.
For summer programming, Denver Public Schools has announced summer classes will also be held remotely and all summer camps are cancelled. Please check with your local school district for information on the status of summer programming in your area.
