Charles Feldmann Visits Troops Overseas

Charles E. Feldmann, U.S. Marine Corps veteran and partner at Feldmann Nagel, LLC, recently took a trip with the American 300 Tours nonprofit group to visit American troops serving in the Middle East. He described the opportunity to inspire our men and women in uniform as “too good to pass up.”

The nonprofit tour group is led by Rob Powers, a former resident of Steamboat Springs, whose mission is to increase the resiliency of American troops who are serving tours overseas. Other Steamboat Springs residents who have participated in similar trips include astronaut Steve Swanson and several Olympic competitors.

Familiar with the ups and downs that come with military service, Charles formerly served as a Marine officer and judge advocate who often prosecuted high-profile military cases. He once had to prosecute a case involving a Marine sergeant who executed an executive officer and shot another commanding officer in the chest in broad daylight. He was able to successfully secure a conviction. He would later write a number of books based on his experiences in the military, including “Murder3Gun,” “Ark of War,” and “The Sons of Sheriff Henry.”

Today, Charles generally focuses his practice in the area of courtroom litigation and is recognized as one of Colorado’s top lawyers. Charles travels around the world representing military service members as part of Feldmann Nagel, LLC’s military division, Military Justice International. He is also a member of the Armed Citizens’ Legal Defense Network, Inc., which supports members through education about the legalities of using deadly force for the purpose of self defense.
