Not Guilty Verdict at Jury Trial:

Division 1 college athlete charged with multiple counts of misconduct including harassment assault and trespassing charges. Retained Feldmann Nagel upon initial charging and prepared to contest the allegations as unsupported by the evidence and witnesses. Trial was conducted and the Jury panel returned verdict of not guilty on all counts.

Felony Charge in Federal Court:

Federal government director-level employee was charged with providing false statements during official investigations and retained Feldmann Nagel. Case was resolved with the dismissal of the felony charge and a plea to an alternative misdemeanor charge without jail or additional fines imposed.

Hunting Guide's Felony Charge Dismissed:

Client charged with felony criminal violation by Colorado Division of Wildlife. After continued investigation and negotiation with officers and prosecuting attorneys, the client's case was resolved with a dismissal of the felony count in exchange for reduced misdemeanor plea without probation and without jail sentence.

Hunting Suspension Case Dismissed:

Colorado hunter facing suspension for Colorado Division of Wildlife violations retained Feldmann Nagel for guidance and representation when faced with notice of a suspension of all hunting and fishing privileges in Colorado and 35 other states for up to 5 years. After preparation with witnesses and presentation of client's case at the suspension hearing, the suspension was not imposed and client continues to maintain full hunting and fishing privileges.

Criminal Charge Dismissed and Civil Case Dismissed:

Business owner faced criminal charges alleging violations of protection orders and a civil lawsuit, based on unfounded allegations. District Attorney refused to dismiss charges and the complaining witness who pressed the civil petition refused to settle and encouraged the State prosecutors to proceed with the criminal charges. Feldmann Nagel prepared each case for fully contested hearings, conducted thorough motions practice, and set the cases for trial. After litigation in each case, the court dismissed the criminal charges as well as the civil petition in separate hearings.

No Prosecution after Sex Assault Investigation:

Client contacted Feldmann Nagel after learning about an allegation of sexual assault. Feldmann Nagel conducted an investigation and reached applicable witnesses to explore the allegation by the complaining witness and collected supportive witness statements even before the witnesses were contacted by police. After offering to share investigation materials with authorities, no criminal charges were filed.

Argued a Prosecutorial Misconduct related criminal conviction appeal before the Colorado Court of Appeals.

Man pled guilty to Indecent Exposure (via a different law firm) and was required to register as Sex Offender. Our Attorneys successfully withdrew the guilty plea and Client was acquitted at subsequent jury trial. Our Attorneys also succeeded in having client removed from Sex Offender Registry.

Man Charged with Violation of a Protection Order (Domestic Violence) and Harassment-Stalking (Domestic Violence) Against his Girlfriend.

Case Dismissed prior to Jury Trial:

Man charged by DEA with multiple felony counts associated with his alleged involvement in an international drug ring.

Case Dismissed before Preliminary Hearing:

18 year old young man charged with multiple felony charges of Sexual Assault in a Date Rape case.

Client was charged with Felony Second Degree Kidnapping and False Imprisonment.

Iraq/Kuwait - Sergeant serving a tour of duty at Camp Ramandi, Iraq was charged with eight specifications of Sexual Assault, one specification of Assault and one specification of maltreatment. Client was administratively discharged with no incarceration and no sexual offender registration and no criminal history.

Ft. Carson - Man charged with six specifications of absence without leave and selling or disposing of military property and one specification of larceny and wrongful appropriation. Client was administratively discharged with no incarceration and no criminal history, no guilty plea to any criminal charges, no felony conviction.

Case Dismissed:

Ft. Carson - Man charged with three specifications of absence without leave, one spec of disrespect to a superior commissioned officer, one spec of disobeying an officer and three specs of assault of a noncommissioned officer. Client was administratively discharged with no incarceration and no criminal history, no guilty plea to any criminal charges, no felony conviction.

Hunter cited for multiple violations of Fraudulently Obtaining a Resident Hunting License. Hunter pleaded guilty through the mail BEFORE retaining our firm. Hunter received no suspension of hunting privileges despite accumulating in excess of twenty points against his privilege.

No Suspension of Hunting Privileges by DOW:

Hunter charged with multiple Federal and local hunting violations on Federal land. One year deferred prosecution with no points or suspension of hunting privileges.

No Suspension of Hunting/Fishing Privileges by DOW:

Fisherman/hunter charged with multiple Wildlife violations related to wasting fish. Pleaded guilty to littering with no points or suspension of hunting/fishing privileges.

Unsupervised Probation:

Federal Court - Ranch owner and son were indicted by Grand Jury on 11 count felony indictment for Lacy Act Violations. One week before Jury Trial, US Attorney's Office offered a single count Misdemeanor plea with unsupervised probation, no fines and no restitution.

Unsupervised Probation:

Husband and Wife life long hunters were both charged with Felony Offering a False Instrument for Recording; Felony Forgery; two Counts Illegal Possession of Wildlife and two Counts Licensing Violation; Husband and Wife both received unsupervised probation.

Dismissal of Felony Charges at Trial:

Hunter charged with multiple wildlife felonies. After jury selection at trial, prosecution offered negotiated misdemeanor plea resolution.

Dismissal of all Felony Charges:

Man charged with Felony Sexual Assault; Crime of Violence - Sentencing Enhancer; Two Counts of Felony Aggravated Intimidation of a Victim. Received a two year Deferred Judgment and Sentence with probation and all charges dismissed.

No Permanent Conviction:

Chief of Police was charged with three Counts of Felony Attempting to Influence a Public Servant. Client received a 18 month deferred judgment and sentence.

Probation and No Permanent Criminal Conviction:

Juvenile accused of multiple felony counts of property crimes. Received deferred adjudication; no permanent conviction/adjudication on his record.

Probation and No Permanent Criminal Conviction:

Young man charged with Felony Aggravated Sex Assault on a Child also known as Statutory Rape and Felony Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. Client received a four year deferred judgment and sentence.

Case Dismissed:

Woman charged with Assault (Domestic Violence) by her boyfriend and in a separate case, Violation of a Protective Order (Domestic Violence). Assault case dismissed. Deferred judgment and sentence to Violation of Protective Order, with no permanent conviction on her record.

No Permanent Criminal Conviction:

Man accused of felony criminal mischief in a casino. Deferred judgment and sentence to misdemeanor with no permanent conviction on his record.

No Permanent Criminal Conviction:

Woman charged with Theft/Ski Pass. Deferred judgment and sentence with no permanent conviction on her record.

No Permanent Criminal Conviction:

Man charged with Harassment and Criminal Mischief (Domestic Violence) against his girlfriend. Deferred judgment and sentence to petty offense with no permanent conviction on his record.

Downward Departure Obtained:

Federal Court - Client was charged with numerous Felony Bank Fraud charges. Client received a negotiated resolution and a downward departure in his sentencing.
