Mr. Letendre's interests lie primarily in the areas of litigation and administrative law. Since DNR defense work is a hybrid of administrative action and litigation, his interests align well with representing clients who have run afoul of DNR regulations. As a lifelong camper, outdoorsman, hunter and former Marine, he shares many of the same passions as our sportsman clients, and understands what the potential loss of hunting and fishing privileges means to them.
Ben is a 2010 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. Prior to studying law, Mr. Letendre served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps for 10 years, and deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of combat operations.
Ben was born in Rochester, MN and presently resides in Baraboo, WI with his wife Norah (née Grady) and their three children. He is an attorney with Cross Jenks Mercer & Maffei, a full service law firm providing legal counsel to the people of Wisconsin since 1889. Ben joined the firm of Feldmann Nagel, LLC's Wildlife Division as Of Counsel in January of 2011, where he represents Wisconsin clients requiring legal representation in WDNR related matters.
